This website is published by Emerald Stone, a producer, supplier and exporter of building stone based in Tehran, Iran. By using the site you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, simply do not use the site; that is the only consequence, since using it costs you nothing else.
You may read, print and share these pages for your own professional use — specifying a project, comparing materials, preparing an enquiry. Photographs and screen colours cannot represent a natural material accurately; ranges quoted for material properties are typical ranges for a stone type rather than measured values for the batch you would receive; and any figure presented for orientation is not a quotation. None of it constitutes a binding offer, and the availability of a particular material can change.
An order exists when there is a written agreement between us covering specification, quantity, price, delivery terms and payment. That agreement, together with the physical sample both parties have approved and the written tolerances attached to it, is what defines what you receive. Where anything on this site differs from your signed contract, the contract prevails. Natural stone varies within an approved range by its nature, which is precisely what the approved sample exists to bound.
Guidance on this site, including anything the stone advisor replies, is general technical orientation. It is not a structural calculation, not a specification, and not a substitute for project-specific engineering by the professionals responsible for your project. The advisor is an automated tool and can be wrong. Decisions with structural or safety consequences — anchor design, panel thickness, facade fixing — need a qualified engineer working from the real conditions.
The text, guides, page structure, photography, layout and design of this site belong to Emerald Stone or are used with permission. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome; republishing pages or guides wholesale is not, nor is using our material in a way that suggests we produced or endorsed something we did not. Our name and marks remain ours, and third-party names and standard designations mentioned in the guides belong to their respective owners.
